Using archive photos and audio recordings of memories of Hayle Regatta, children from Bodriggy, Connor Downs, Gwinear, Penpol & Leedstown schools made this film in workshops with Lizzie Black and Alessandra Ausenda at Hayle Library.
The Hayle Churks app wins Award at Open Culture 2014
This is what the Collections Trust said, 'Hayle Oral History Project won the Collections on a Budget Award and its £500 prize, for its Hayle Churks mobile phone app. The judges said it was “a really commendable project, and a very good example of what can be achieved with collections on a limited budget”.
